HYDRAULIC OIL
Hydraulic oil is a fluid that has several functions. It serves as an energy transfer or power transmission medium, lubricant, and sealant. Also, it is a fluid that cools the equipment and carries contaminants away.
As we can see from the aforementioned categorization, hydraulic oils have to possess certain properties to be able to meet the requirements of the hydraulic systems and operating conditions. Whether it is heavy-duty or an application which does not have such extreme working conditions, hydraulic oil needs to be:
- non-compressible
- stable in terms of viscosity and in a range of operating and climatic temperatures (high and low)
- fire-resistant
- non-corrosive
- anti-wearing
- resistant to water contamination
- durable.

TRANSFORMER OIL
Transformer oil or insulating oil is an oil that is stable at high temperatures and has excellent electrical insulating properties. It is used in oil-filled transformers (wet transformers), some types of high-voltage capacitors, fluorescent lamp ballasts, and some types of high-voltage switches and circuit breakers. Its functions are to insulate, suppress corona discharge and arcing, and to serve as a coolant.
Transformer oil is most often based on mineral oil, but alternative formulations with different engineering or environmental properties are growing in popularity.

GEAR OIL
Gear oil is made up of two critical components: base oil and additives. Additives impart desirable properties and suppress undesirable ones. The additive package is the backbone of the lubricant’s performance, and a strong backbone will provide the performance and protection you need. Gear oil is a lubricant made specifically for transmissions, transfer cases, and differentials in automobiles, trucks, and other machinery. It is of a high viscosity and usually contains organosulfur compounds.

WIRE DRAWNG OILS
It is mainly used in vanishing drawing stamping & blanking application. Recommended for precise and difficult operations of stamping, profiling, folding, refining and cutting of non-ferrous metal thin sheets. It is especially suitable for aluminum and alloys.
Metal Forming Lubricants
Metal-forming fluids generally are categorized into four main types: water-based, oil-based, synthetic or semisynthetic, and solid (dry) film.
Water-based or soluble oils contain emulsions or micro-emulsions. They offer great cooling characteristics but lack lubricity. These lubricants are ideal for high-speed applications and can be sold in concentrates.
Oil-based lubricants provide great lubricity characteristics and long service life but sometimes lack additive solubility.
Synthetic and semisynthetic lubricants are designed to deliver very high cooling capabilities. Synthetics can be emulsified with water (sometimes known as neo-synthetics) to offer better lubricity.
Solid (or dry) film lubrication is the use of solid materials (such as graphite) in conjunction with or without oil or water. The best applications are in extreme conditions such as low shaft speeds, high and low temperatures, and high pressures.
Turbine Oils
Turbine oil formulations are relatively simple; they are a mixture of the following ingredients: Base oil, corrosion inhibitors, oxidation inhibitors, defoamants, and demulsifiers . The base oil is usually 97 percent or more of the turbine oil formula. Additives are blended into the base oil at low levels to protect both the oil and the turbine parts.
